Most chickens like to roost in the highest spot possible so if your roosts are noticeably higher than the nests you usually don't have a problem. Sometimes you do anyway but there is some reason for that when it happens. Maybe you don't have enough roost space, they can't get up and down, or you might have a bully that won't let others sleep up there.
If I'm going to have a problem with chickens sleeping in nests I want to know before I get poopy eggs so I'd get those nests available today and see what happens. If they are already sleeping on the roosts and the nests are lower you should not have a problem. If you do have a problem come back on here. We can look at pictures and talk about it to figure out how to solve it.
If the nests are not available when they start to lay you can teach them to not lay in the nests. That's another reason I want them open before they start to lay.
