Does anyone have Netflix?
Is it good/bad?
Worth the money? Any bad experiences?
We're thinking of getting a gift subscription for someone and cant decideto do it or not.
Thanks!

Everyone I know who has it seems pretty happy with it.

It's always fun to find out what came next when the mail comes in. I'm always excited when I open it. It's definitely worth it. Also, they have a new section where you can watch instantly to your computer, which is really convenient and doesn't cost anything extra.

We've had it for a few years and have LOVED it! I love now that they have some instant shows u can watch right on your TV now even! Amazingly awesome, id recommend it to everyone i know

I watch a lot of old movies and foreign movies - Netflix has a great selection of weird stuff. If you just want to watch ther latest blockbuster release, Netflix is possibly not your best bet, because some movies have a rather long waiting list.

They're pretty good about sending things out, too: I live in the back of nowhere and it's usually 2 days from them to me.

I do watch streaming movies but because my DSL connection is about the slowest you can be and still call it DSL, the resolution is not the greatest, so I watch mostly old British mysteries and documentaries on it.

Tried Hulu but didn't like it - I don't watch regular TV and I'm not interested in TV series and specials, for the most part, and that seemed to be mostly Hulu's venue. Plus my slow DSL made it pretty painful.

I have DSL and don't have an issue with watching them on Movie-link. Netflix doesn't have that great a selection for instant down load unless you buy the 100.00 TV hook up thing and you do have to wait for new releases. On that link I posted I have already seen how to train your dragon and Avatar, and the new Alice. Netflix doesn't even have them released yet..
