Wait….Does anyone think it is "safe" to palpate her? Because I am assuming that she is pretty close to delivering (if she is pregnant) and everyone says to palpate from day 10 to day 14...is this just preference and I should try or should I just wait and see? (note that i have never palpated before
Mine looked like a basketball her last week. She was also grumpy and would growl at me and run into her nest area. I tried palpating, I couldn't feel a thing. My doe also got very hungry in her last 2 weeks.
Yes they do look bigger and lay different (on there side more) and we love questions
I think you just need to be patient. The first time my doe was bred it was an accident. I drove myself nuts trying to figure it out. I finally decided she wasn't bred when she had her litter one night. Either your doe is bred or she isn't. Waiting is hard, but it's all you can really do.
