Netting for peafowl aviary

we’re planning to net in our 50x50’ ‘big bird’ yard that currently contains a few turkeys to accommodate the two peafowl that are currents growing in an indoor aviary. Will this type of netting work? We usually get a week or two of snow in the winter, will that sag/break a net like this? We can also get used fishing nets cheaply around here, which would be thicker (but definitely uglier )

It's a bit pricier than the one on Amazon, but I can vouch for the quality. I live in SE Michigan and this netting has held up to our worst winters and it looks nice as well.

2 inch heavy knotted is pretty much the industry standard. My oldest is 12 years and still looking good. Dry fluffy snow will fall right through but the heavy wet snow should be knocked off as it accumulates.
