I moved the girls to a part of the yard where the grass isn't doing very well - more dirt than grass at this point - the thinking was that ultimately, they could only improve the space and I can reseed the area when they are done.
Here's the problem - Last year, we replaced the back lawn with sod and it turns out that there is some kind of plastic netting integrated with it. I am assuming that I should cut all the exposed netting away in the area the hens are right now, but should I be worrying about this netting when they get moved to the lush areas of the lawn?
