Neurological issue?

She is SO much better! I did the Polyvisol and also got some electrolyte water, etc. And she's now just got the tilt to her head! I'm thrilled! My daughter is begging for her to be a house pet, I said no, but I am wondering if I can put her back with the others if she continues to improve? I would put vitamin water out there - or does she need to be kept separate? I'm OK either way. She just drank a bunch of water and is eating again!

She's doing it again. It looks like she's trying to scratch her belly so I put my hand down there on her chest/belly and her beak was not hitting my hand. She essentially stopped with her head down like the top of her head on the ground- and just sat there with her head on the ground. I tapped her beak until her head was up again, and well I lifted her to put her back in the crate? She started it again. Well.... Time for more polyvisol? I checked her over and pulled some dried poo (I think) off the ends of some feathers on her bottom side. It was hard and light brown with a little marbled white and very entwined. I checked her for mites and don't see any, but I've never seen them before either as they all have dust baths in the coops with mite dust mixed with food grade DE and peat moss.....

Early signs of her issue: As a hatchling, and for weeks after, she would sometimes sleep standing straight up with her head directly on the ground. Upside down. I posted it here once in passing about my chicks who'd hatched, but it tickled us as she'd just seem to fall asleep and slowly lower it. Then, she did a very little time of spinning, and it wasn't really fast (like her mother was as a chick), but then of course became the head tilt, which has evolved into this bizarre, almost seizure looking episode of lolling her head around under her chest area.

If in fact it is wry neck, the treatment protocol is 3 weeks long(if I remember correctly).
I would definitely keep her separated for a few more days at least until you see some consistency in her improvement.

I will keep trying! I think I may look around for a vet (mine that comes to my house does not do fowl).
