Never built a coop

Hello, I am new to raising chickens and have never built anything before. I need to make a 6x8 chicken coop for the 6 chicks I am getting. How does one begin such a project? Are there plans with directions available? I am near Wooster, Ohio so if you know of any one who,has built a coop who could give me some pointers I would sure appreciate it.

There a lots of blue prints for coops that can be found on line. Some are free, some cost around $20 and give you all the information you need like material lists, cut dimensions, etc. Pretty handy! We were going to build ours, but found a used one on Craigslist that is cheaper than what the materials would cost to build one. We'll just modify it a bit so it fits our yard.
