Never lean against a wall with an egg in your pocket...

Daily I fight w/myself, trying to break the habit of tucking an egg or two into my pocket...haven't won that fight yet and I always forget for a bit they are there.

Don't let little ones sleep w/an egg trying to hatch it either...I did that years ago w/a rotten Robin egg...it was awful!

I just broke an egg inside the pocket of my down coat. Ever try washing a down coat-it just floats!

Never kiss a boy or man with an egg in your shirt pocket..when I was 16 gathering eggs on our farm my dad leased at time..the owners son came by and cornered me in the barn and gave me a kiss on lips and the egg in my pocket broke and I had eggs running out of my pocket..kiss was good though and I saw him many years later at my dad funeral and we were talking about that..he is married with kids and me too but was fun to talk about. that was my first kiss..

Two days ago... bent over to give the dog some food in her dish and pop.

Forgot it was there.

I had a first time layer that would get on the boards of my rafters to my porch and lay an egg. You had to watch out or you would get egged leaving the house. lol

A few days ago I had been out and collected eggs. I only had two eggs in my jacket pocket. I came in the house leaving my light jacket on and forgeting about the eggs. I logged onto BYC but fell asleep for awhile. When I woke up and stretched I then put my hand in my pocket and one of the eggs was busted. YUCK!!!!!! No wonder my dog were trying to smell me up. ol:lau

Also do not walk your very excited dog or pick up something heavy (such as a whiny child, a laundry basket, a grocery sack) and attempt to carry it on your hip with eggs in pockets. Oh, and purses, make sure yours isn't on a long strap and banging into you as you walk.

worse yet is when the daughter does it, then puts the coat in the DRYER to dry it. WITHOUT removing the egg... Suddenly I have a very glossy, shiny coat.
What can I say...she's only six...with a shiny, flakey coat

<sighs>
