I've been a magician for over 25 years and long ago I performed with Doves but I kept them indoors in cages, now in the last 5 years I've added the birds back into my act but I couldn't keep them indoors so I built an outdoor aviary where they can fly around, nest, breed etc. I also use the space to train them and work with them in the stage apparatus.
I like this set up much better for me and the birds and I really enjoy spending time out in the aviary. View attachment 1877637

Thank you for your response. I suppose I'll have to wait for retirement to try my hand with them. I've always been fascinated by them, but my current efforts are spent with the food garden, and chickens when I'm not working my boring, non magical job, LOL.
