Never mind, fixed

my dog was taking a nap, with his head on my laptop, now when I am surfing BYC, when I click on anything it opens it in a new window, instead of just directing the page to the next topic. I have a gazillion pages open, just trying to get to post something. What is the setting messup? Please help, I am sure it is something simple, but I'm stumped
