Never seen a chicken like this...know what it is?

yes, she's a gorgeous little bird and pretty friendly, the dog chased her to me the other day so I grabbed her and put her up on my lap and she sat there for several minutes exploring my lap and talking to me with these odd little noises I never heard a chicken make before.

Mine makes really funny noises too. She used to sit on my shoulder a lot when the other chickens picked on her but after getting her big girl voice she has gotten a bit more flighty. None the less she is very sweet and they're really pretty birds.

yes thats kinda how my chickens are...there are a couple that will still jump up in your lap when you sit out in the yard but not as much as they did when they were younger. the little silverwing is one of my favorites...she just has a sweet disposition all the time. Fortunately, my birds don't pick on her much.
