OK I have had chicks for many years, never have come across this.Maybe you all can help. Chicks that a re a couple months old are starting to grow a hard bump like thing on the skin just above the beak.There are two of them, no other symptoms or bumps I can see. They are on chick starter/grower, and are twice the size of my chicks at the same age??? I will try to get a picture to you, but was wondering if anyone has ever seen/heard of this? By the way, the bump is the same color of the skin, but kindof hard and no bigger than a pea.looks like it is trying to become a unicorn.LOL.
