I noticed this pink bump on my chicks toe on April 30th. After getting some advice from other chicken owners, yesterday (May 4th), I soaked it in epsom salt then lanced it. I tried to squeeze out any gunk but nothing came out aside from a little blood, it felt hard. I put some antibiotic ointment on it and wrapped it up. Today I removed the wrap, soaked again, applied ointment and re-wrapped. The first pic is April 30th. The second pic with gloves is from today (May 5th). Pickles is fine and not acting like she's in distress or anything.
It doesn't look like pictures of bumble foot that I've seen but I'm a brand new chicken owner. Please educate me 😊

Don't wrap it.
Wrapping it too tight can make things worse.
Ok good to know! Even after lancing it I should leave it unwrapped? I feel like it might make it more susceptible to get infected (or more infected)?
