Well, the ad said that they got them at church, not that the church gave them out. It is possible that they got them from a person there, and then realized that they couldn't take care of them like they should. I don't think that a church would give out chicks to its members like that.

Nope that's pretty insane, no overreaction on your part. HOPEFULLY, MAYBE the church didn't give them out MAYBE, HOPEFULLY they were given to their children by someone at church. Sadly, nothing suprises me anymore though.

I personally don't see what the problem is

- someone apparently gave them 3 chicks and they don't have room or a place for them. It isn't like they are handing out a dozen chicks for easter, they just happen to have ended up with the 3.

I don't understand why you are so upset about them - why don't you call and get them if that worried and upset about it?
