New--13 week-old pullets--ages and eating, starter or layer feed?

Hi! We just picked up our four 13 week old pullets on Saturday. So exciting! I asked what they had been eating and was told Purina Flock Raiser. I wanted to keep them on the same feed and transition them slowly to the feed that we will be able to get locally. So I went to the feed store near where we got the birds, which is not so local to me, and they didn't have flock raiser. Only Purina Layena or starter and I was told Layena would be better. But reading the threads here I'm not so sure. So here are my questions:
1) Should I be concerned about transitioning them slowly to a new feed? Its probably too late for too much concern in this area, but I could order Flock Raiser online and would probably get it in a week... (or maybe someone knows where to get flock raiser in sf bay area?)
2) I plan to buy feed at my local biofuels filling stationÑit's my closest, most convenient option. They sell starter and "organic pellets". Should we get the starter and use that until the birds start laying? Avoid the Layena (calcium?) until the birds start laying? Mix the organic starter and the Layena?
3) When should we give them greens and kitchen treats? Should we wait until they are older? Wait until they are more comfortable in their new home?
4) And how old before giving them scratch?
Thank you so much!

I would suggest at around 18-20 weeks start with half and half starter and layer and then finally just layer. Worked fine with mine! Got them at 2 days old on March 11th and they started laying a month ago!

Thanks, tamvan. We'll go out and get the starter today. I've been reading more on the site and think I have my answer—common question! I hope they are okay after eating the layer feed for 3 days.
