I acquired 4 new young silkies last week and shortly after they got settled at my place I noticed one of them coughing I guess? I quickly isolated her and began medicine that is supposed to cover CRD...although I'm not sure how to tell what she has. I need some advise on here to get her better. She doesn't really have any nasal discharge, she has no odor, her stool is sort of normal....a little dark and wet but nothing bloody looking. But she sounds horrible! Like a deep congestion or something! All the others are acting fine, no signs of what she has. A lady told me moving stresses them out and maybe she got really stressed and is coming down with a secondary. I don't know, I just need help! It seems everytime I get a chick from someone I end up with a sick one. I used Dimetox on my last sickos but they had nasal discharge...this one doesn't have much if any. I pressed on her nose and it's dry or a little clear on one side. HELP!!!!
