Well went by a friends today to give him the White bobwhite eggs I just recieved in the mail because I'm no longer planning on breeding bobwhite. And turns out he had some suprises in his brooder. Buff ringneck chicks. Sooo I went home with an 8 dollar "donation" and a trio of buff ringneck chicks!
They are sooo calm compared to regular pheasant chicks and look awesome!

They are a solid buff throughout. The cock bird who is the father of these birds had noo black on him. I did not get to see the dad but my friend did.

I think they are Buff Isabella coloration not the Buff...anyone have pics of the two different mutation chicks?

Thanks! They are really fun. I have raised Blueback pheasants and Melanstic Mutants....always have been wild just like you would expect...well these Buffs are like the buff orpingtons of the pheasant world lol. Very very calm.

Wow, very cute chicks, i'd be interested in getting some hatching eggs for this breed, anyone know places that sell hatching eggs?

Of the 20 some colors of Ringneck pheasants we raise- our Buff Isabels are some of the flightiest.
