After searching every corner of the Carolinas, it would seem that only male geese are for sale. No babies. No females. And I've searched long and hard. So today, I walk in to TSC, and absolutely fell in love with these two ducklings that were chilling all by themselves outside the group. They're Khaki Campbells and with the exception of my Nelson, possibly the cutest things ever.
One is noticeably lighter than the other, and stands almost on top of the other anytime there's a noise or I move the cage, so even though they were straight run I'm fairly confident that I got a male and female. Super excited for them to get a little bigger so I can introduce them to Nelson!

Will definitely have pics up later

Nice ducks to have, but don´t give up on the goose....they´re just starting to breed, there´ll be loads around later. It´ll be interesting, though, to see how nelson is with the ducklings.

Yea I'm still looking for a goose for sure. I would love to find Nelson a girlfriend lol. I plan on recording them when I first introduce them, so that will definitely be posted. I'm thinking of doing it sunday so the ducks have a chance to get used to me at least. I had a pair of adult ducks at one point, but Nelson hated them. I really messed up introducing them though. I brought them right home and put them all right in the same pen together, not to mention they were white too. Since Nelson seems to be a boy, I'm thinking the protective of babies thing will help
