My rooster passed away in December, my two hens was getting lonely and I missed him myself terrible, so I seen a swap meet at tractor supply and I purchased a huge show Orpington around a year old ..He is basically a sweet lap chicken, super calm. I'm worried, I have him separated in his own place. But I let him see the hens through the fence and hang around them. Did I mess up? I hope I didn't bring any illnesses around to my hens. His eyes and nose look good, comb too.

Even with a quarantine you don't know until you combine birds. Time will tell if he brought anything nasty with him. It's the risks to buying adult birds.
Ugh I've been stressing over it, ok thank you, I hope he doesn't have anything. I also hope I don't have any Marek's on my property, and he gets sick....Not really sure of what my rooster passed away from. Is there so many feet away his house should be from my hens?

He's already been around the girls and has been housed next to them, technically if he has anything, the girls have been exposed. If your girls have anything he's been exposed.
I think since you have him - check him for lice/mites, if all seems well, then just let him with the girls and see how it goes.

Well they feel in love instantly with him, well one did, my other hen just became a crower, I hope she doesn't give him a hard way. I may just do that. I may just do that then :D
