Not the best pictures I've ever taken but more pictures tomorrow. [IMG] I convinced my dad into letting me get six Ameraucanas today at the feed store and I alreday love them. [IMG] I named one already and my brother named another one... Blade and Bambi are their names. I love naming chickens... [IMG]

Above is little Blade...hehe named him after one of my favorite movie characters. [IMG]

erm...someone else may come along and correct me, but I think what you have are EEs, not Ameraucanas [IMG] They sure are cute, though.

Those are gorgeous little Easter Eggers!

and you are right, none of them qualify to be called Ameraucanas.

[IMG] I just repeated what the store lady told me. Thanks for the info though! I love their coloring too. Gotta change my signature to 6 EEs now I guess [IMG]

Yep EE's all farm store sell them as Ameraucana's because that is what they are told. You can only get true Ameraucana's from breeders.

They are soooo cute! I named my Barred Plymouth Rock hen Flower after the skunk in Bambi! [IMG] I love her!... Beautiful chicks by the way!
