Did you take the incubator out of the box?...That just looks like extra styrofoam and pieces that was packed around it to me from those pics..

My new hova was packed with the bottom and top compacted together....

Didn't take it out, its in a pretty sturdy printer box, just opened it and there it was. Its the side with the little window thing that is broken to pieces.
The side with the cord is still together.
I just went in a pulled a piece out, it really looks bad, to me, anyway, like it was broken in pieces and put in.
But being new I haven't seen to many p.o. disasters so I can't saw for sure.
I think with the little bag of foam balls it throws me off too, like maybe they used that to pack eggs?

Yes did you take it out of the box? Looks as if one of the plastic windows fell out. You bottom piece is most likely sitting inside the lid. Maybe you only have to glue the window back in. I would email the person you bought it from and ask for a refund.

Now that you have pics of how its was when you opened it...I'd take it out and document with pics of the pieces....Thats how I documented a stained glass piece I had gotten and was broken from P.O. shipping....

Thats what I was thinking Poison Ivy...it may have just popped out...

Looking at that picture, i dont think those parts go together, the broken pieces are alot newer looking verses the bottom, and from the shapes........i dont think they would fit together.......
