4 or 5 sq ft per bird is good in the hen house. This is especially good if winter turns nasty and they can't get outside for a day or two.

Can't help with the run... ours have the run of our fenced acreage.

Hi Weenie, they should be baack to normal in 3-4 weeks. We still have a few that aren't quite where they should be and we have had them almost 3 weeks. And two of my are bald - one is named Kojak. The other one is Cue Ball. They should be fine.
