Hey!
The journey with chickens is really very exciting. You get quite attached to them. As time goes on, you'll be able to see their individual personalities really showing through. My red pullet is one of those really out there, demanding birds who push right up to you, the brown one not so much, she's a lot calmer and eats grass in the background while Miss Red is sinking her beak into my foot

Have your hens started laying yet? The eggs are a great part of having the chickens, we haven't had to buy a single egg since the first lot started laying!

The eggs are much better quality too, you can really tell the birds have been free-ranging.
