new and have question's on problem with chick's

[Summer Rose Farm]

hi i am new and have a ton of bird's. but i have a few chicks that are smaller because of there breed (silkie/sumatra/welsummer) and they look like their losing there feather's on there back side and the top of there heads. the other chick are all getting there adult feathers in but not a couple. and was wondring if it's the feed/overcrowding/light. they are on there 5th week. so i joined to see if anybody had ideas.

They might be getting bullied. Or they might just be going through the feather change. It would be a good idea to separate them temporarily or at least keep a close eye on them to make sure they are not getting picked on. Good luck with your wee ones!

thank you for some answer's i seperated the larger breeds from the bataam breed's and it look's like there starting to get some of their feather's back. i think the bigger breeds were climbing on top of them and their talons were pulling their feather's out. and thanks for the support.
