My coop can't be a permanent structure (and I have to keep them above the puddles) so the entire thing is going to be lifted up a few inches. I'm toying with having the run part be a dirt floor but I would have to bring in some more soil to take care of the low spots. Then I could have sand in the coop! When it rains hard 1/4 of my yard is a puddle! 1/2 is kid stuff so I can't divert the water over there :-/
For a visual... The coop is going to be a lean to on the shed extending to the stick pile. My compost bin is otw, so the wheelbarrow won't be there anymore lol.
I am going to be breaking ground for my garden along the right fence this spring (well, next month basically) and can't get any big equipment in my yard to level out the ground. This old neighborhood only has about 4' clearance on each side of my house (to the neighbors fences/sheds/covered porches)
