What's the most eggs you've gotten in a day? If 3, then they're all laying.

Yes, I do. That was one day...over night!!!

8 eggs from 3 hens in one day??

Yes!!! There were 2 brown eggs in one nest and in another nest 3 brown and 3 white!!!!! And I thought I only had 2 hens and one rooster.... help

I'd say that if you're getting 8 eggs in one day from 3 hens then you've definitely got all girls, lol. 3 very VERY productive girls.

Chickens are supposed to only lay one egg in a 26 hour cycle, but I personally know of people who swear they get more eggs than they have chickens in a day, so I can't say it isn't possible or that it's untrue.
