But with a comb like that, you think ots a hen?My guess would be brown leghorn, but I'm not overly familiar with breeds outside of my own.
Are you referring to the size of her comb? But those "hens" don't have combs like mine. Mine has a comb like a rooster but is laying white eggs!!!
Yes. Hens don't have big combs like that, right??!!Are you referring to the size of her comb?
In the original question. I see them. Let me do it againView attachment 1130198 View attachment 1130199 View attachment 1130202 View attachment 1130203

Thank You! I've been calling her Axle LOLView attachment 1130256 Although her comb is larger than your other hens, it's not necessarily huge for a hen, especially a leghorn. She's got a few tell-tale hen signs, outside of just comb size.
She's got a hen feather pattern and color, rounded saddle feathers, and rounded neck feathers.
If she was a male brown leghorn she'd look like the pic I've posted here (that I borrowed from cackle hatchery). He has A much larger comb, male color pattern, and pointy saddle and hackle feathers.
They call them brown leghorns because of their feather color, not the egg color.
Well... everyone meet Alice LOLBut with a comb like that, you think ots a hen?
