New and Need Help

Hello everyone. I am new here and also new to the chicken scene. I had a few ducks and geese many years ago but now the kids and I want to try our hands at chickens. Any help you could give me would be great. What types are the best, helpful hints for raising chicks and also an ideal chicken coop.
