Thank you for joining us at BYC. So sorry you lost Gracie. Situations like that happen more than people would think. Sometimes they get trapped under something and can't find a way out. Other times they panic over something and hide in a garage, dog house, or in thick brush. After awhile with chickens, you'll start to think like one- and automatically check regular hiding places.
