New and not sure I am in the right place

Newly joined and looking to raise ducks as opposed to chickens. Still looking at plans for a home for the ducks. They aren't going to be delivered until 1st week in September. Any plans or advice on Rouen Ducks? Getting a male and 3 females, old enough that they won't need a heat lamp but not adults either. Never had any type of poultry before so this will be my first excursion.

. Many of us including myself do not raise chickens. I personally raise waterfowl. Are these going to be utility or exhibition rouens? If exhibition you'll have to have extra care for the keel. Remember ducks need more Niacin than other fowl and will need supplementing.

Well at the moment I guess utility. Do not plan on showing but said the same thing about my horse. She has already been in 3 or 4 shows and barely had her 1 1/2 years so far. Keel? Ok read what that is. Supplements? Was planning on feeding Purina or Dumor as they are available at the local tractor supply. Some feed stores around too I may check but they are big suppliers of purina also. What do they normally eat that would make them Niacin deficient from lack of eating? I am in south central Pennsylvania.
