Great web site...Glad to be a member! For various reasons, to numerous to name now i have Goats (2 saneen wethers), Will be starting a Bee hive as well this year, and now just ordered 6 Barred rocks and 6 RIRs to share the backyard with the above named residents! Everyone will have their own mini barn and fenced pen, with some periods of supervised individual freedoms, of course with the Bees getting the lions share of this! Anyone see any future problems, difficulties in this Harem shareing some adjacent spaces? I feel that i will probably suffer the most, but still worry about the little folks, goats, chickens and Bees! Thanks in advance.

from WI!

I don't think you have anything to worry about with multi-species cohabitation. How much area do you have for them all? Glad to have you here

Thanks for the welcome folks! I used to drive truck so i know how beautiful Wisconsin and MO is! The wife is worried a little about Bee stings on Goats noses but my guess is that with a fenced in Apiary, they wont suffer much or more than once! The plan is to fence everyone in and let the Bees by nature get the most free rangeing, with the goats to get a lot less with supervision as they do now and the chickens to be mostly coopped and penned. The wife was the big drive for goats and Bees though she doesnt look forward to the work involved with chickens. Im the big fan there with an equal enthusiasm for an Apiary. Heres hopeing everyone gets along!
