My name is Charlie and live in South Carolina. I'm new to chickens. I have built a coop and roost. Have a 25 x 50 ft pen. I got my 2 hens and put them in the coop. My son open the door and they are out. they are roosting in the trees at night and going back in the pen in day. Wings have not been clipped. Any Ideas on how to catch them and put back in the coop. Please Help. ha

Sure, wait till dark. grab a pole with a T on top. run it up and bump their chest with it. they will step up on it. lower them out and put them up And KEEP them up for at least 2 weeks.

I'm right Below you in Union County ( Buffalo ) .. I promise the "T Pole " and the flashlight works. I caught 50 birds for a fella in 15 min like that not long ago.

They will not move after dark. just run a pole up bump their breast and hold it still ( and tight ) they will step up and you can drop them straight out ( they will not come off )
put them up and your done.
