I have now 5 chicken's.
One hen went Broody.. no problem I thought. Hatched 3..1 killed by rooster.
Sperated babies and mom.
Put in a smaller coop. But attached to bigger coop.. blocked off with chicken wire. They can see each other. I thought that would help them remember each other due to they grew up together..so babies over 5 week's, I thought we should try putting them together and watch....
Well mama attacked other hen and pen her down in a corner and was hurting her... so separated again.. one's a slikie not the broody one.. other don't know she was a gift... LOOKS LIKE A HIPPIE WITH LOADS OF FEATURES ON FEET.. small size.little larger than a silkie.BROWN with tear drop markings.
If anyone knows,please let me know! .. I have as far as I know at the moment is 2 hens 1 rooster. Not sure what babies will be.
Don't know what to do now to get all in one coop! Help!!!
