I'm new to BYC (although I have been trobleshooting using your forum replies for a while!) and new to chickens. I just started my little flock with some cross breeds, I've had them for just under 2 months. I'm anxiously awaiting my first egg, but I'm hoping all the clucking and carrying on from my Australorp cross means something! I can easily see the girls becoming my obsession, my husband already thinks I'm crazy
