With all my sterile tools and hands ready, I had an attempt with the tweezers on the corner of the first pip and couldn't manage to get my tweezers under the shell to lift it. I then picked up my pin and turned back around and saw the baby put a second pip/crack in the shell along where the thin crack appeared! I saw it do it!!! It popped right up for a second!

Looks like it is definately working on zipping. I talk to my eggs, cheep at them, play music for them...play youtube videos with the sound up high of chicks hatching or momma broody hens making noises....its down right silly the things I have done over my bator lol
