New babies came Thursday from Ideal. *pics*

I ordered 5 Ameraucana Bantams and 3 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Bantams from Ideal and they came on Thursday. With my order they sent 10 extra standard roosters as "packing chicks" and I ended up with 18 cute babies!

I was very disappointed with my first attempted order from Ideal...not their fault by the way, but I ordered some mille fleur d'uccles and they ran out before they could fill my order! waaaa!!!!!!

Good looking fuzzybutts. I love Ideal poultry. If they don't have what you want they can put you on a waiting list. I did this for some Salmon Favorelles so i could be the first to get them next year. A week later they called and told me they were having a better hatch than they thought and would be having extras the next week. I placed my order and picked them up the next week. I wasn't planning on getting them for another year so i had to hustle and build an addition to the coop and run. Good Luck

Thanks everybody.

They had their first outside day today. I was amazed by how well they did. We ate dinner in the backyard and had the chicks out for a couple hours. They ate ants and worms and a little watermelon. They played with the cats (my cats are very sweet with them) and they met my two older chicks and had some standoffs with everybody. What a fun day. Now they're back in the bathroom under their light and the older gals are roosting in their coop.
