well i have this hen that went broody. she sat like a champ & about a week - week & a half ago ( hatch day is the 26th) 3 of my other hens went broody so i had 2 hens in each nest box. the original hen got booted off her eggs. so i went out today to check on them & i had one chick , i threw out all the other hens & gave her her nest & baby back only to have her look at it like it was gonna eat her & she started to peck it!!!! so out she went & in came my american game bantam. she sat & raised some babies last year for me all of none were hers & either are these but she dont care ... any way i had to go out & section off part of the nestboxes so the others cant get to them . now i know & knew from the start that i need to sell them. i have my limit. my question is when should i sell them now or wait a few weeks???? they all are bantam cochins.
