We added more new fluffy butts to our chicken family. This brings our chicken family to 34. I think we are gonna have to stop for now, unless I can get DH to build a third coop!
We got six of these little cotton balls with feet:
And these 3 little ladies:
The first group are Blue Laced Wyondotts (sp?) and the second are Welsummers. My neighbor who works at the Co-Op actually bought the BLW, just so she could see how they look when they grow up. But she doesn't have any where to raise them, so she asked us to do the honors. The Welsummers were the last 3 that they had and they were a couple of weeks old, so marked down. I just had to take them home with me.
These are some of the first group we bought, peeking out of their new home in "The Big House:!
