Hi all-
I bit the bullet on Friday and bought four baby chicks.
Elphaba and Galinda are Cream Legbars and are nine days old
Nessa is a Sapphire Easter Egger and is six days old
and Bocky is a black Austrolorp and is six days old

I've been weighing them on a kitchen scale since Saturday. Elphaba is the largest at 50-52g. Galinda the smallest at 28. Nessa and Bocky are about 48-50g each. They have put on the most weight so far, going from around 30-50g. That makes sense since they are younger, but Elphaba and Galinda have maybe put on 3-4g in that time. That seems like very little. All four are eating and drinking well, all are active and curious. All have access to food and water 24/7 and all are under a brooder plate at 90-93ish degrees in a room with a window which gets reasonably dark at night and has some sunshine during the day. They have toys to play with and things to jump and perch on, plus paper strips to peck around in. They are eating PenPals starter crumble and have a little sugar in their water, as the feed store I got them from recommended. Their wing feathers are also growing quickly. I've seen no pasty butt and all seem to be pooping a LOT. Is there anything more I should be concerned about, or should I just relax? Thanks, all :)

Relax.
Right food, right water, right temps, low stress. If their behavior is active and their intake and output is good they should be alright.
Okay, thank you. They're still at the same place weight-wise, but they are changing visibly, so I'll just keep watching.

Relax, watch and listen. I've never weighed a chick before, but they will tell you if something is amiss.

Have food all day? I've not heard of your feed so I have no suggestions there. What protein % is it? (I'll also go look it up to familiarize myself with it)

As stated above if they are eating and pooping fine and running around, probably starting to jump and flap to fly out, then I'd say they're doing well.

You can always attach photos of them and your setup. I'm sure more people will hop on here soon.

Good luck!
