New Babies(there's now 56 of them)

I just got 12 new babies, Melanistic Mutant Pheasant Chicks and was wondering if anyone could tell me if you could tell the males and females apart? I got six with white on the head and six without the white.

Well...... My 12 has now turned into 56 as I brought home 44 more pheasant chicks

The feed store got in an order and it was never picked up so they were selling the chicks to whoever wanted them but after I got my 12 on sat. they didn't sell anymore so when I went in today (to look for peas for my garden) they give them to me just to get rid of them(they were sick of pulling dead ones each morning) the sad part is they started out with 150 of them and I don't think they sold that meny.
