Sweet, sweet DH decided we needed a few (4) guinea's. So, to keep me from blowing a gasket, he brought me 5 new baby EE's!! They are all 9 so, so precious. For now.....until the itsy, bitsy, adorable little guinea's start voicing their opinion around here! Not sure if there is enough room on this 20 acres for their opinion and mine...LoL

They are VERY, VERY skittish and nearly impossible to catch and they are only 2 days old! They are adorable little things to watch though, and soooo tiny. I have never had any either. Now I have 4 and just ordered 8 more. DH says they do better in a larger flock. Pretty sure he has never been around a guinea in his life.

After he brought them home, I pulled up youtube and typed in guinea fowl just so he could hear what he could be looking forward to...LOL!

guineas are rarely nice i have 3 guineas and the are wild as bucks they have spent many nights in the tops of pine trees because they refuse to go in the night pen and the are sooooooooo loud! but besides that my guineas serve a great purpose in my flock of fowl, i have a bunch of rowdy roosters that like to fight and my guineas surprisingly break up any fighting activity! weird huh?
