New babies!

After suffering the loss of one of our ducks a little less than a month ago, my husband let me get some new babies to help alleviate some of the sadness. Our new little ones are super cute!

My pekin still has the paint spot on head from sexing. Anyone know a good way to get rid of that. They used red and oddly enough heavier on pekin and its thick and makes you think wound when you first see it. I want my baby to be rid of it. Any ideas?

For the paint you may just have to use tear free baby shampoo or dawn dish soap and work it out. Hold her in your lap with a towel to you don't get wet. (Let her swim for a bit first so she gets wet) then just set her in your lap and work it around. Should come off. Use baby shampoo because it's gentle and won't hurt her eyes. I've used baby shampoo on past animals before and it is safe but don't let her eat it of course. Dawn might burn the eyes after a rinse since your specifically working the paint off the head.

Make sure you get the soap all the way out!
