We just got some new babies on Friday! So cute and fluffy, I almost forgot how little they start out and it’s only been 10 weeks since we got or first batch.
Anyway...this is Penny (a dark RIR) and Twilight (a SL Cochin)
In a few weeks when I move them out to the coop with the others what is the best way to introduce them to the rest of the flock?
I don’t have any kind of barrier that I can put up in the run to separate them, tho I do have a large dog crate I can set up next to it. Our current flock will be about 16 weeks when we transition the newbies out there. Also do you think I need to worry about my bantam Cochins being picked on? I have 2 in the flock right now (the other is a standard EE) and the newbies are standards. They stand up pretty well to the EE if she tries to be a jerk.
