Yeah got my 8 new 20 day old girlies today to add to my 5 big girls and 1 big boy. (Lost a few of the orginal flock due to summer heat and 1 dog attack ) looking forward to the excitment of first eggs again around end january. They golden comets so anytime after 4months old

Haha im hoping like my others they will look slightly different when they get their real feathers. Theres only 2 out of the orginal girls i cant tell apart so they called sage and onion lol. So i need to also come up with couple names maybe thelma and louise

Yeah dog attacks are the worst, I lost my favorite two hens yesterday to a neighbor that has pit bulls the size of Great Danes. Hailey, for a girl name? (Hailey's Comet)..

Oooooo i like that thanks. Yeah its sad i think it was an own dog what got loose cos he kinda gave up when he fought back a stray would have ate him. He was a huge cockrell like a dinosaur lol lovely bird tho but was too big for the girls so now we got the 1 cockrell left and 13 hens so good ratio xxx

I have a Thelma and Louise. I had to band Louise so I could tell them apart!! I love finding names that go together. I also have Lucy and Ethel. And I'm sure I will have to band one of them when they get bigger. Right now Lucy is bigger than Ethel.
