That's a common concern on here but unless the egg is incubated you will not find a baby chick in it. If the egg is incubated for a few days a chick can start to develop and you can see the results of that. So collect the eggs daily and store them at household temperatures or in the fridge. Just collect daily.
Thats actually NOT true. I sold eggs to my godparents only to have my godmother not eat for an entire week when she found a dead muran baby fully developed but dead and we run a tight ship. Im so glad she didnt sue me

I just wish ts was better at guaranteeing what we asked for. The ts store in town has a girl that knows her stuff, but they ran out of birds. So we headed to the next ts up the road, cause I was getting my babies yesterday. Lol the girl there was like I'll try...I know she still has problems eating eggs now

You can collect daily and miss an egg or two, when you have 100 birds plus.
It was incubated either under a broody or simply through being left in temperatures warm enough for the embryo to develop. Incubation doesn't necessarily have to mean being put in an incubator.It was still in tbe coop, it CAN happen, it WASNT incubated. No need to get hostile all I said is it CAN and DOES happen.
