That is the reason I am minimizing my trips to the feed stores right now. I don't want anyone slipping chicks into my cart.

Wow, you got off easy if those are the only extras you get this year. So far I have 13... sorry, 12(one just died), in the brooder right now and 10 more on the way!!! Hoping my darling hubby doesn't notice. LOL yeah, right - wishful thinking!!! Guessing I will be picking up a few extras now, you know how it goes, loose one get 3. Simple math really.

Yea it seems that them feed store chicks got educated before they left the hatchery. If you are pushing a cart too close when you go by, them little rascals will jump right in.
