new baby chicks (help me please)

so i went to tractor supply company and bought 15 baby chicks....no pics yet camera is dead...i got them home and one of the RIR had a prolapsed butt it was hanging about an inch out...before i could do anything about it the other chicks pecked it off...What will happen to my chick?

Are you sure it was a prolapse and not a navel stump?

it was brown when i first saw it then i went back and it was like a strip of organ looking thing

i just took another look and i dont think it came out of its butt its kinda below it
