Alright. I've read and read and read, but still can't help but be like the new parent, staring at them every 5 seconds. Today, I got 4 RIR's, 3 Dominiques and 2 Barred Rock babies; all between 1 day and 1 week. I've got them in an old playpen that I bought off of my neighbor. I've got a small, thin blanket tucked up under the mattress board in it. I have medicated grower/chick food that the breeder gave me, along with a waterer. The red brooder light shining down with a thermometer laying next to the babies. They are all laid out in there, some of them "chirp snoring" - absolutely adorable. Am I missing anything or is there any advice for me??? I have a RIR pair and a black Orpington, but they're grown and laying eggs. These are little, tiny fuzzy BABIES!!!!!
