I don't have a lot of experience with hatching or with Polish chickens, but I think it should have a puff on its head. Can't wait to see this chick in a few weeks.

If I understand my google search, crests are a dominant trait. So, if the Polish roo is the sire, your chick should develop a crest. It is possible for Guinea hens to cross with chickens, but the resulting offspring are sterile.

I know we have one polish roo two polish hens, one gray hen, and the geniua. Like I said was told it’s a hen but after 8 months no egg. It’s very noisy and the waddles turn out. Someone told me that means roo.
