New baby turkey question

I got my baby this morning. 6 weeks old. I went to touch it and it puffs up. Is this normal? I just want to bond with baby.

My turkeys are raised in the house until they are ready to go outside. This can be up to12-16 weeks old. They see me all the time and bonding comes very easy. Mine are always on turkey starter all there life. People can't believe how big mine get in a very young age. These guys are only 5 months old.
